We at DamnYouOhio.com are lifelong, committed Ohioans. While the negative angle may make you feel uncomfortable, that is somewhat the point. (We would be lying if we didn't admit that some of this stuff is just painfully funny.) The only way things will get better is to be completely clear and unafraid of our problems. This is what people are saying about our state; if we can't listen to them how can we make it better?

Schmidt of Cincinnati Slams Murtha
Say whatever you want about Iraq but Scmidt looked a fool...
On the floor, Ohio's newest representative, Republican Jean Schmidt of Cincinnati, delivered a deplorable assault on Murtha relaying, as she said, a message from a Marine colonel ``that cowards cut and run; Marines never do.''
Schmidt would have done well to check Murtha's credibility and experience before she delivered the insult. Murtha retired from the Marine Corps Reserves after a 37-year career. A decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, his is one of the most valued voices in Washington on national security and military issues, his knowledge and insight highly respected by legislators and presidents.

Cedar Fair drops local advertising agencies
Cedar Fair is Cedar Point, if you aren't familiar with the parent company name.
MARC USA, which has offices throughout the nation but none in Ohio, replaces Akron-based Hitchcock, Fleming & Associates, which has done the most recent work for Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom, and Cleveland-based Liggett-Stashower, the agency that has represented Cedar Point for the last seven years.
